DATIN KALAVALLI SETHU

 

Founder & Managing Director, Compass Insights Sdn Bhd  

 

Compass Insights was founded in 2008 by Datin Kalavalli Sethu after 20 years spearheading various leading roles in MNC’s such as Colgate-Palmolive, ACNielsen, Research International etc. She followed her passion and founded the company with a core vision to build clients’ dream with positive difference in the way marketing research is conducted, delivered, and applied.

 

Having worked with National and International well-known Corporates, she has been trusted as one of the best minds in the Market Research Industry in Malaysia.

 

Datin Kala is a visionary in the true sense and is well-known for her passion in uncovering the meaning and insights behind numbers. Business issues and challenges excite Datin Kala in crafting the right methodology and adopting the best analytical tool to find the most accurate solution.

 

Being multilingual, Datin Kala facilitates group discussion, workshop and training sessions at ease with her participants. Her all-round industry experience and technical expertise as a researcher are hard to match.

 

Datin Kala has served over 100 clients from over 40 industries, both multinational and SMEs.

 

Datin Kala is a former President of Market Research Society of Malaysia (MRSM), Council Member of Association for Promotion of Higher Education in Malaysia (APHEM) and Education Welfare Research Foundation (EWRF).

 

Datin Kala is recipient of 2018 Women Icons Awards, a prestigious national award.

 

As part of her dream to return her gain to the society, Datin Kala shares insights about personal and business growth through talk shows on Astro & RTM. She speaks at various forums, runs academic programs and spiritual development workshops.
